John;

I just acquired an 800B S/N 1035, so yours is in the same early sequence of production. Mine originally had an electrodynamic speaker. Someone lost it years ago and it was modified with two 1500 ohm 25 watt resistors in parallel to replace the missing field coil. I was given this unit Saturday 02/20/2016. I am just getting started on this one. I worked on one for a friend back in the 1970s. This one will have to have a PM 15 inch speaker and tweeter added to make a complete system.

Did yours come with a cabinet or just the radio and power supply chassis?

Joe
