Cira 1946 Scott 800B all original

A nice survivor found in Lexington Ky and purchased from the original owner. I had originally bought this for the cabinet to complete another Scott, but kept it as-is due toit's nice original flame-veneer finish.

Carlos:

The wood is Mahogony with a striped pattern but no Mahogony grows in North America.  What you are calling American Mahogony may be what we call Honduras Mahogony from Central America.

Hi Carlos-I took some more photos, this time with the flash ON so it looks brighter than in person. My earlier photos were with the flash OFF. I am not a veneer expert but I am guessing this is walnut but I do not know what type.

Hi Bruce,Asking from your Scott 800B.In order to restore my 800B,I need pics of the top from your console if you like.
The top of my console,appears stripped all the original wood.I tough is American mahogany? What is your opinion?
