A very good question to which I do not have a good answer. In addition to this receipt, mention is made of the "trade-in" rebates in the Serviceman's Bulletins and in some other sales materials. It only appeared around the AW15/AW23 transition, and it is not clear how long he offered this. We do know that the employees of the company were allowed a discount on a Scott set....it might be that some of these returned chassis were offered to the employees, but we have not hard record of that. We don't see any evidence that he re-sold them either (seems unlikely). So it is a bit of a mystery.
