Mark is the one who sold me my Allwave 23. This one or one just like it was in his family room.

Desirable and is the only example I am aware of, and a desirable model Scott, but I am not interested in another model Sixteen. Thanks for the information.

I have met Mark, - He has purchased and sold many radios, Scotts and others.

I bought this from Mark Taylor in the Chicago area about 5 years ago. It was on display in his living room then and he was the one who drove to Denver to buy it in person years before. I have the set now in my test drive room aka my foyer and its sounding great. Will take and post some photos this week here. It was electrically restored for me by Jeff Aulik in the Rockford area.

Jeff is a well known AK and Philco Predicta collector and has restored several of my sets for me.

Bruce:

The person I bought my 23 from had one of these in his family room. It was for sale at the time, but don't know if

he ever got it sold.

The top lid does not lift up. This set came from the Denver area about 10-15 years ago. It may be the only surviving original Westwood cabinet thus my asking price. I have not played it for a year at least so I think I will move to my test drive front foyer this week and turn it on for a while. I always run my sets on step down transformers about 105V or so. I will clean it up and take some new photos if any one wants to see it in more detail. Has catalin knobs I believe too.

The West wood has a nice 16 set in it that plays very well, There is no room for the eye tube so its a15 version of the 16 :)
