Hi i want to align the IF s on my phantom, The adjustment trimmers are not marked on the schematic from what i see where are they? Which manual do i use for alignment? I have the 20 tube version. Next what is the proper bleeder resistor size for the audio amp??? I have seen 2 diffrent scematics showing a 4k 25 watt resistor and another one showing a 6k 25 watt resistor!What are the proper voltages for the 6L6s???How do you adjust the eye tube ??? "How far down you push the covers will affect the performance of the radio..Some where  in the alignment  of the radio it tells you that make sure you have good clean metal on the can to the base..Just a FYI."

"Scott id be tempted to get that set playing if the transformers were good.Chrome may be bad ,but that would not affect how the set played.Wonder if that switch was used for some type of signal splitter or a converter of some type.Yes seems mr BB did…"

Playing my Scotts!

Got around to finish wiring the ant tuner on my Allwave 12 Deluxe .Was easy to do ,after I was done I connected a short wire to it.Wow was amazing how many stations came in so loud and clear on all bands,SW  was coming great in 15 feet of wire!The radio was not all that good till I got the Ant tuner fixed and hooked up it sure makes a big difference!Turned on my Philharmonic and let it play a while while I adjusted the Expander while it played..The Expander sure did help boost the sound and…See More

"Make sure you have the right 6L6G  in .The transformer will run hot after a few hours of playing.You could use a variac to drop input voltage to the set.Check your mains to see what it reads."

allwave 12

Hi guys got me a Allwave 12 in a Warrington cabinet.Has 2 knobs on the side of the cabinet,one marked 1 thru 4 the other tunes a cap..Has the WUNDERLICH tube and is single dial,and manual with it.Serial number is P-234 and cabinet has Dynamic Noise Suppresser serial #1386 .. Have the service data too and set works tho cabinet needs a bit of work to it nothing major tho..This now joins my Phantom Deluxe and my Philharmonic 30 sets!All work..Angelo : )
