"Hi Robert, sent you a Friends request so we can PM. Yes I'm interested in the complete set, and, if the converter is not spoken for, I'd like that as well. Thanks, Karl"

"Karl,       I didn't reply sooner because I just saw your message. I actually just decided to sell the converter. So I would be willing to sell The Philharmonic. Are you interested in it all or just the Tuner?"

"The brass collars were also used in the early Model 20 receivers.  The retaining tabs often break off when removing the collar to replace a corroded one on a breadboard model hence the glue.  Model 20 receivers are common and cheap. …"

"What parts do you need for the AK? Pictures? I might have something buried in my old stuff - 30 years ago, before my Scott days, I had a large AK collection and the odd piece falls out of boxes now and again. Kent"

"Robert - sorry!! And yes, the long cable is the power pickup for the FM converter. There is a manual for the converter in the Archive. Those are fairly desirable by itself, so it is a great find! Kent"

Well yesterday the local auction house here in central Florida had some interesting radios. They had 5 Scott radios, and AK 9C, and I took home three Scotts and the AK.
