The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Everyone -

Over the years, several collectors and I have tried to make very complete lists of all things Scott. Jim Clark's book of set models and cabinets, my serial number data....and issues of "The Scott News". Probably everyone on this board has some copies of the Scott News. Attached to this post is what we feel to be a complete list of known Scott News issues. Use this as a reference for growing your collection if you wish. What I want/need is this: if you have anything in your collection that isn't listed here (even a photocopy of a Scott News issue), I want to know about it and add it to the list. Surprisingly, I just added another issue to the list this week, so I still consider it a work in progress.

Note that in the list both Volume/Number and Date and "Title" are given. The Vol/Num system was a total mess with Scott, so this is used to help identify specific issues only. Once again...let me know if you have something not on this list. Thanks!

Kent

Kent,
I want to know which way are you attached this Scott News Index.doc?
Several ways I tried to attach a document and was not possible...
Many thanks.

When I created the thread, there was an "Attach Documents" option near the bottom of the screen. I just browsed to the file and attached it....

Very interesting...I have the Jan issue, so it exists...not a correction so much as yet another issue I think. Can you send me a decent photocopy of that issue for my reference? I will gladly swap you a photocopy of any issue you want. Thanks for the update, very helpful!

Sounds fine. Do you want a copy of just the cover or the whole newsletter?

The whole issue if you could...I want to compare to see if it is similar to mine. I'll make copies of any two issues for you, just let me know which issues you want. I have originals or photocopy of everything on my list to make copies from.

Kent,

I've scanned the newsletter at 300dpi B/W line and have printed it out on my HP LaserJet 5 printer. Are you going to be attending the MARC Extravaganza at Lansing next week? If so then I can give it to you there.

Unfortunately, I will not be at Lansing. Michele and I are taking a vacation, including the Lansing dates. I'll be in touch when I return.
