EH Scott Radio Enthusiasts

The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

1/27/2016

Good morning gang. Thanks for adding me to the group.   I've got a Scott SLR-M and boy does that receiver work great.  Just replaced all the power supply capacitors in it yesterday and did a quick alignment using a service monitor we have in the shop.  About fell off my stool when I set it up on 15 MHz, peaked it out (At or about 1 Uv sensitivity) maybe a little better, hooked on and antenna and WWV came banging in loud and clear right on frequency on the dial !!  Works better than many new receivers I've heard.  I'm impressed.

Anyway I'm wondering  if anyone has laying around in their junk pile the TWO "L" shaped RACK MOUNTS (With the four hand screws) on them to hold the receiver in the original case?  I can likely put some rack mount screws in the receiver to hold it, but it would be nice to find the original brackets if anyone has them.  By the way I'm assuming you guys all realize this, but that receiver does not fit into a standard 19 inch rack, I believe it's 18" and somewhat unusual by todays studio standards.

Thanks for the add to the group and look forward to reading the postings and hunting for more EH Scott radios!

Carol,

I think I have what you're looking for. They came off of my RBO-2 cabinet but are probably the same. How about ten bucks, you pay shipping. 12" long, screws at 2.25, 4.5, 7.5 & 9.75" from end.       bliers@gmail.com

You want to message me via the board here. or you can send me a direct email to info@certifiedelectronics.org  Thanks a bunch.
