Merle -

The finish is all original except the top and the bottom 4 inches or so. The top was (as usual) very scratched up. The bottom had sat in water and was literally rotted...Kenneth rebuilt the bottom for me and I stained and finished to match. This cabinet has no turntable in it...yet...the hinged plate in the top has never even been cut for a phono. If I locate a good unit, I'll probably add a phono to this one.

I'm not a cabinet person myself, I am much better doing the set restoration. This one was within my limited abilities....

Kent, The finish is nice, is it original? Which turn table do you have with this set?

Just finishing mine up now. I need to get Norm to do the chassis restoration??? -Merle
