The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Wanted to buy Philharmonic Scratch Suppressor switch. Think same switch was used on the Allwave 16 as well.

I take it your switch is missing or broken.

The push-pull switch is  not uncommon, but the version with extra long shaft is uncommon.

Yes, it is like the push-pull switch on a Scott model Sixteen.

You might try Mark Oppat https://www.oldradioparts.net

Meanwhile you could use any push-pull switch that fits the radio, and add a length of metal tubing that fits over the switch shaft as an extension. Or buy a rotary on-off switch with long shaft, perhaps from your local hardware store.

John - I do not have a spare...checked last night. Those do get broken, I get asked about them every couple years. I'll keep watch for a parts chassis to see if we can locate one.

David: I have reached out to Mark, we'll see what he comes up with.

Kent: Thanks for keeping an eye out!
