The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Just a quick hello since I got my account active.  Very neat forum.  I have lurked and read a lot here in the past now time to add a bit of info.

I just picked up my second 800, a 800-B6, very interesting back story.

More info and photos as soon as I can.

Thanks all,

Mike

You really licked out. It looks great all around. Good luck with the restoration. From the looks of things you mostly will just have the usual electronic work to do.

I thought you might enjoy the condition of the chrome on the chassis for the receiver and amp.  In my limited experience this looks very good to me.  Thoughts?

Cabinet is in really great condition. The 800B is a good player and gets modern FM. Be sure to modify the amp to enhance the bass response (notes in another thread here on the site)

Thought you might enjoy the as bought condition of the cabinet finish.
