EH Scott Radio Enthusiasts

The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

For give me fellow Scott collectors but I have to ask this question here because I came across this ad today and there is no McMurdo Silver Enthusiasts forums like this. So, here goes. Has anyone ever seen one of these 1938 model 14-15 McMurdo Silver set shown in this ad?

Have not seen one. Ad says it is a communications (ham radio) receiver.

From a MS collector friend from his list of MS models:

14 tubes with a 10 inch Jensen G10R.   or 15 tubes with a Jensen Giant 15 inch speaker.

choice of metal or glass tubes. pair of 6L6 output tubes.

optional microphone: 4A dynamic microphone by Transducer Corp  TR-6 aka "the Bullet"

I was hoping from the thread title, someone had found one.

To my knowledge, none have ever turned up.

Another advertised model that's never been found is the McMurdo Silver Orpheon.
