No. It was Victor's finest product when new in the late 1920s. A good portion of the cost of the electrola was the fancy cabinet. It was not unusual for a Scott customer to repurpose a fancy cabinet housing an obsolete piece of equipment to house their new Scott receiver. Long ago I had a McMurdo Silver Masterpiece II in the same cabinet although narrowed somewhat.
You do not have an AW23, in spite of the knob arrangement, you have an Allwave 12 Deluxe, there are 9 tubes on the tuner and 3 on the amp. Some one has added a couple extra controls to your set - so when you restore it, you'll have t figure out the mods. Looks to be a beautiful set!
