x2 E.H. Scott Consoles - Not sure of the models and cabinets, etc. (haven't checked if they have been worked on, recapped, etc. Still working on making room in my lab, etc. and hoping to retire by Jan 26 to find some time to work on the >150 tube radios + 2 E.H. Scotts

Referred to as the AW-12 Deluxe. The Twin speakers indicate 1932 or early 1933 production. If it has a Wunderlich tube as 2nd detector, then it has AVC, the upgrade introduced December 1932. The Wunderlich tube is an Arcturus blue glass specialty tube with dark red base - which became scarce and some sets were upgraded to use a 55 tube. If originally equipped with a Wunderlich tube, the socket will have a dark red button and no tube number embossed. All the other tube sockets have tube numbers embossed. I do not see the 3 tube chrome plated power supple in this photo (pair of 45 tubes and an 80 rectifier).

    Hi David,

Thanks for the information.  I do have the power Amp., it was out of the console when I got it, I guess they wanted lighter weight for moving, it's in my lab, haven't looked at it in any detail or underneath yet.

Hoping it does have the Wunderlich tube with AVC !

    Thanks,

    ERIC
