The Laureate was a pre-WWII model with a design emphasis on high fidelity reception of local broadcasts. The GE record player or at least the tonearm and function switch is from the early 1950s. The original record changer would most likely have been a Garrard automatic record changer although there is a small chance it would have been a Seeburg model. The cabinet is a Sheritan, a relatively uncommon model of cabinet.
