Radio Daze 2024 is the Upper Midwest’s ultimate vintage radio collecting event.  It will be held Friday and Saturday, May 17 – 18, 2024, at the Comfort Inn Plymouth-Minneapolis, located at 3000 Harbor Lane, Plymouth, MN 55447.

This is NARC’s premier event. The auction, radio swap meet, radio contest, program, and awards presentation are well attended by prominent vintage radio collectors from around the country. The radio contest includes equipment displayed from the early days of radio to the 1960’s. Fliers were mailed in early April to all known radio collectors in the five state area.

The meet kicks off with a large radio auction in the hotel main ballroom at 7:00 PM Friday. We make this an entertaining auction and there will be a good variety of radios available - typically over 200 lots. If you want to sell your radio(s) at the auction, check them in between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Friday. Auction Preview is 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and the auction starts at 7:00 PM. Member Frank Rasada will be our auctioneer, with auction coordinator Don Hauff handling registration and check in. The radio swap meet begins at dawn on Saturday morning and will offer a wide variety of vintage radios and related items for sale in the hotel parking lot. Sellers generally start packing up around noon and it will be done by 2:00 PM when the indoor program begins.

The Saturday program will feature a talk by WCCO Televison's Sports Director Mike who has been with this station since 1998. NARC is excited to have him for our program at Radio Daze 2024!

If you plan to stay at the hotel, please call them by May 5 to assure room availability and to get the special Radio Daze rate of only $109.00 (plus local taxes) per night for either Double or King rooms, Thursday through Saturday nights. For the special rate, mention you are with the Northland Antique Radio Club and are attending the radio meet.

The Pavek Museum is usually open on Wednesday to Saturday, and does have a small display of radios and televisions. If you intend to visit the museum, please contact them to confirm their hours of operation and ticket cost. The Pavek is located at 3517 Raleigh Avenue in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
