Wow, thanks for the cabinet scan, Gerry.  I like those barley twist legs on the Gothic!

I did a search of Radio News on americanradiohistory.com.  I found the Masterpiece was advertised in 10 issues from January to October, 1933.  The first 5 months through May, it was advertised as brass finish, and from June on it was advertised as chrome finish.
