800B tuning motor not as scary as i thought
A customers' 800B. the tuning motor was getting juice, but didn't move. winding showed continuity so i opened her up and surprised to find that there's not much in there to go wrong. no commutator, no armature windings, etc.
its built like an AC phono motor. this one was stuck from some brown goo between the armature and the field coils. cleaned, lubed and back together. as they say down under 'bob's your uncle'
