1942 Laureate 18 tube in Oxford cabinet

This is an odd set, made in 1942 when Scott parts and cabinets were running low per the original paper work with the set AND lacked chrome plating on most of the main chassis. The set had quality issues early on and the owner had a hard time getting the Scott company to find a repairman in the owners area.
