got jan in april of this year . always wanted a scott radio. I collected and restore all makes , hallicrafters, national, and have a hammarlund  rgb-2. I would greatly appreciet any help and advice on this radio!! I have noticed that there are at least 3 different versions of this set. I bought it at the pittsburg  radiofest in april of this year. paid 30 for it. was sitting under a venders table . I have all the covers. I have been cleaning it and checked the tubes. need a few including the 6e5. wich if have on order. the reason I nicknamed her jan is all the tubes are military jan deg. pluse she was a troop moral booster!!  thanks for allowing me to join and hopefully get this old girl running!! I do plan to retube it with jan tubes!! thanks for your time ed kb8mpr
