Ledo cabinet, Daowood veneer, Scott Allwave Fifteen (1934)

This is the later Scott Ledo cabinet featuring the blond Dao wood veneer also seen on the later Napier cabinets. The early version of both the Ledo and Napier used darker figured Circassion Walnut with the blond chevron of Dao (or perhaps Satinwood) . The veneer revision occurred sometime during the Allwave 15 production in 1934 and both veneer versions of these cabinets are seen with Allwave 15's. The edge of my Napier in the darker walnut appears to the left, a dramatic contrast. The herringbone layout of the veneer makes quite a statement.
