My first book on the history of the electronics technology launched in 2012. It comprises twelve chapters from the birth of Thermionics up to de begining of computer Science. In chapter 3 - Radio Broadcasting the book covers many topics on receivers such as the Scott Philarmonic and 800 B. The Scott morale receiver is commented in chapter 8 - Radio Goes to War. The Eléctron Age is the sole book ever published in Portuguese dealing with Scott receivers. An homage to my idol E. H Scott.
