Underside of tuner with steel covers removed. The crammed chassis is terribly difficult to work on. The band change switches are turned by a DC motor and gears with the shaft perpendicular to front panel. The AM selectivity/sensitivity switch is also perpendicular to the front panel.

Yes, Ken. Nearly 40 caps including the amplifier/power supply. Really an interesting radio. The wiring on the left works with the autotune mechanism. It allows mechanical programming of any 10 stations, AM or FM (not SW). It's actually a development of Collins used in their equipment during WW2.
