Broken fiberboard switch.This switch is geared to the band switch coil wheel assembly gears. This view is of the antenna coil, mid chassis.

Broken, probably the result of past failure to follow directions to put the wave change in Broadcast band before dismounting the coil wheel. Do not move the wave change switch until the coil wheel is re-mounted. The position of this switch cam is critical. Out of position, it will jam and break if forced.
