The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
A NEW ACQUISITION.
For your viewling pleasure, here is my all original GE (F-70) 1937 nicely Deco large table radio. I believe it's a seven (7) tube model. Even thought we all love E.H. Scott radios, I believe members also enjoy seeing other makers as well and what they were building in the "Golden Age of Radio."

Hey Ted,
I agree. The GE sets are nice table radios. I also love the deco cabinet on this one. The F-70 is a seven (7) tube model. Here are the specs:

Model F70, General Electric Co. (GE); Bridgeport (CT)
Country: United States of America (USA)
Manufacturer/Brand: General Electric Co. (GE); Bridgeport (CT)
Year: 1937 Type: Radio
Valves / Tubes 7: 6A8 6K7 6K7 6H6 6F5 42 80
Principle: Super-Heterodyne (Super in general); IF-Freq 465 kHz
Wave bands: Broadcast, Short Wave(s) and Police.
Details:
Power type and voltage Alternating Current supply (AC) / 115-125 Volt
Loudspeaker Electro Magnetic Dynamic LS
(moving-coil with field excitation coil) / Ø 8 inch = 20.3 cm
Material: Wooden case
Shape: Tablemodel, with any shape - general.
I have had a G-53 and several F-63s (love that deco cabinet). They perform quite well given their limitations.
