Receiver Underneath

I finally got around to removing the pan on the bottom of the Philharmonic receiver. No mice were found. There are plenty of old capacitors. Also something funny is going on in the upper left of the photo. What looks like a power resistor has become unattached from the solder blob on the left. Someone did a hack job here, apparently. I will need to figure out what is going on. Any suggestions welcome.
