The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
Scott knobs for 1937-41 Philharmonic. Round knobs are 1 inch diameter and fit 1/4 inch shafts. The "pinch" type round are usually seen for Volume and Wave change only, but cast metal or batwing brown sometimes seen for those two controls. All other controls use the brown round, including the smaller 2 speed Tuning shaft. A shallower version round also seen for the tuning shaft. Not pictured is the larger 1 3/8 diameter Tuning knob for the larger tuning shaft..
There is also an all octagonal set seen on a few Philharmonics.

The Scott Sixteen (and Eighteen) also uses these brown round, except the Volume and Wave Change use the pinch type. Also uses the same 1 3/8 diameter large tuning knob on the 2 speed dial.

And - I had a few of the large, faster tuning tuning knob made with two set screws. Had looked for a couple years without success. Contact me if you need one.
Usually, seems the Scott supplied brown plastic knobs have set screws. I have seen non-setscrew knobs of identical appearance that fit the f1/4 inch flat shafts Scott controls usually have.
Currently (2017) - a good repo of the round brown is carried by Ed Schultz - dba as Renovated Radios under KNOBS as his Generic k103.
