The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
A friend of mine will be retiring soon. He will also be moving away and will not be able to take all of his radio collection with him. So, he gave me this tuner which I believe to be a Scott Allwave Deluxe / 12. He also included a somewhat ratty console to contain it. There is no power supply or speaker.

A rather low serial number suggesting early production, but with the 6 pin jones plug, not the earliest Deluxe.
I believe then that you have an fairly early 12 tube Deluxe from mid to late 1932. The 56 was used as 2nd detector until late 1932. To be sure, check the tube socket to see it it says a 56. If so, the 3 tubes across the back would be 24's (or 224's, same thing). And a 51 RF tube and 24 1st detector. That all being so, you have the non-AVC model. and it would have been shipped with the twin speaker set.
If all or most of the receiver tubes blue glass Arcturus- Cool !!! Probably original.
After your version, the 12 tube Allwave Deluxe with AVC came out about December 1932 with several tube revisions including the new Arcturus Wunderlick became the push-pull 2nd detector instead of the 56 yours has.
Yes -the 12 tube Scott Allwave Deluxe. The large builders tag on the back suggests it may be the later AVC model and also has the serial number, which Kent King would like for the serial number project.
IF the AVC model, the 3rd tube back on the left end would be an Arcturus Wunderlick, unless it has been converted to a 55 tube.
