We are in Muskegon on the first weekend of Oct. for the Buster Keaton festival at the Frauenthal theatre. My partner is the organist for the silent movies they show on Saturday night.
If you are working on the power supply, that is a .25 (quarter microfarad) capacitor. There should either be 2 separate caps or one cap with two sections. The schematic is hard to read, it took me a while to figure that out before reading the parts list.

Check out Mouser.com. They list a .22uf 1000 volt cap (the closest you can get).
Their part # is 5989-1KV0.22-F. $1.51 each.
They are in Texas and have no minimum order. If the caps have a stripe on one end, that should connect to the common lead of the power supply.
Also, when you get this working, I have some questions about the dial pointer postion and dial calibration. Mine is off quite a bit.
