Thanks for the comment. From the looks of the cabinet, this radio didn't get too far from Chicago. I bought it from the seller in Elmhurst which is a western suburb of Chicago where I live. Currently having the main power transformer copied. It has a shorted primary. Also the tweeters have been removed.
The chrome is in very good condition for a 76 year old radio. It should be playing sometime in October.
As Norrnan said the case is the Waverly. I was able to get copies of the service and operation manuals from Alan Jesperson. I think Norman or Kent can supply them as well.
