The Fine Things are Always Hand Made
Hello,
I'm new to this group, but not to collecting and restoring Scott radios. Enjoy listening to my restored 800B and my most recent acquisition an AM/FM Philharmonic. Like many of us over the years I've accumulated a number unfinished projects, cabinets and parts chassis. Currently, I'm in the process of clearing out a storage unit. As I re-discover items would like to offer them to the group. Will start with the parts chassis listed below. As you will see the tubes, tube shield tops and many of the IF covers have already been salvaged for other projects, but there are still a lot of usable parts remaining. Although it is hard to tell from the photos the chrome ranges from fair to poor. I apologize for the bad photography the camera picked up the reflection of the wall so the brown coloration on the top surfaces is not all rust.
I would prefer to dispose of complete chassis but if you are looking for a particular part, transformers, coils, switch, etc. for your restoration project let me know what you need. If no one makes an offer on a chassis within a reasonable amount of time, will consider removing individual parts.
Unfortunately, some have to be sacrificed so that other radios can live. You can reply direct to my email WB9EGZ@gmail.com with any inquiries?
Looking forward to hearing from the group,
Dave
