I am a brand new member. Am restoring an All Wave 23 7 knob in a Tasman cabinet. Am missing the knobs. Does anybody have a set for sale? Also heard there was a repro grille cloth but haven't been…Continue
As Dave noted, knobs are difficult to locate. Watch ebay, they turn up there occasionally.
Richmond Designs sells a repo Scott cloth he calls AZTEC.
The pattern is correct, at about 70% scale of the original pattern.
The original was a 3 color weave with a high sheen gold appearance.
Richmond's version is a 2 color weave with a darker color effect with a bit of a green cast to my eye, but is the only choice currently available. I bought a piece a couple years ago, which he shipped promptly. There were reproduction cloth efforts of 15 and 20 years ago but seldom turn up now.
The larger wood knobs do turn up, but the two small pair are hard to find. Walnut with blond wood circular inlay. And set screws.
Check out the cabinet folder in in Scott Info Archives at the top for photos with those knobs.
