Posted on October 19, 2015 at 1:37pm 10 Comments

Hello I just picked up a USN receiver at NEARfest shes in tough shape I am looking for any literature on this unit

I have found on line that this type of radio was used on Aircraft carriers tankers and land stations for communications with aircraft. 115 VAC 115-156 MHz AM other than that any info will be helpful

Thank you

I love my Collins stuff you are right the 75A1 is awesome I have mine paired with a 32V2 there is something awesome about the old tube radios. That is an awesome power wagon on your profile I drove a 1956 army wrecker power wagon when I was in my late teens such a powerful truck.

Thanks Rick. I picked up the 75A1 with speaker several years ago at a local hamfest. It was working well when I got it but haven't used it in a couple of years. The later 75A's are more sought after but I prefer the A1 dial.
