"Yes, those create the B+ voltage. But the tubes are seldom the issue...there are capacitors and resistors much more likely to be at fault."

Day Radebaugh replied to Day Radebaugh's discussion Newbie with an 800B
"I read the circuit description and studied the schematic.  Although B+ is not mentioned specifically, my guess is that the symptoms I reported implicate the rectifier tubes v23 and V24 and filter V22 in the power supply.  Does this seem…"

"Did you check the fuse? It's probably ok since the relays are working. Sounds like the B+ is gone, shouldn't be a difficult fix..."

Regarding the "late" Super 12.  Means has 2 additional controls for 6 total plus tuning knob. Has 6V6's on the receiver and a one tube power supply with 5U4.

Control layout and round brass escutcheons per my manual insert read thus:

Selectivity                                    TUNIING                      Wave Change

                      A/C & Volume                               Bass

Radio-Phono                                                                   Sensivity

A rare version offered only couple months, I believe in preparation for the successor 14 tube Scott Masterpiece - basically having beefed up audio with added push pull driver stage. I have the 14 tube version and it sounds better, especially with a CD player into the phono input.
