"I suggest it had a crystal cartridge with head shown. The pre war photos I have seen with magnetic cartridge had a much wider shell.  "

"You can advertise it here with a FS post with pictures, or on the Antique Radio Forum in the classifieds, or E-bay.  Craigslist is a possibility, but I have not had much luck selling radios there. "

I have seen high asking prices for the "amp" on Pay-Bay but few sales.

Try to sell it locally for ~ $200. Don't try to turn it on.
