EH Scott Radio Enthusiasts

The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

I will be selling 3 of my Scotts to make room for new acquisitions

AW12 in later Tassman - a player $1200.

Nice cabinet and plays very nicely. Chrome is pretty good

AW15 in later Tassman - a player with a Jensen A12 speaker $1000.

Has some veneer cracking on the right front side but still presentable. Chrome is fair.

Phantom Deluxe AM/FM in Acquisticraft cabinet - a player $1500. Needs a patch of veneer replaced on the lower right front area. All in all a nice set.

I will be attending Radio Fest in Chicago in August and can deliver there is needed.

Hello there Bruce. I think I'd be interested in the Phantom Deluxe if you can send a few more close up shots and possibly email me at home at sms@bee.net. Where are you located? Best regards, Sam

PS. I'm sure we would all like to hear about the new acquisitions!!

The AW12 and the Phantom Deluxe AM/FM are now sold.

Many of you here are familiar with Bruce Sorensen. From my short time knowing him I can give him the highest praise. We worked out a package deal on his two Scotts discussed on this thread. He not only sent lots of stills but also made videos of both. He described them and then went into the smallest of detail before I made the final decision to buy. From there I arranged for pick up and delivery by Pilot Air (highly recommend them for best price and handling). His packing showed the greatest care possible. Listen to how I unwrapped it: Shrink wrap outer layer with cardboard sign indicating "front", then well padded comforter he sacrificed (I'll be using it, lol), then thick bubble wrap securely taped with clear packing tape, then more shrink wrap, then blue tape to hold down doors, lids, then bubble wrap inside to secure tubes, then boxes which held power amp tubes and knobs all individually bubble wrapped. And he went one step further by securing the usually loose Scott chassis by adding L brackets screwed into the wood. The result was shipment with absolutely no problems. If that wasn't enough he also sent photos of his wrapping in various stages. I also was delighted to see his wonderful "Great Scott" room (love that name!) full of his consoles which were arranged circularly and two deep to get the maximum space benefit. A wonderful and varied collection of impressive sets. Well, just wanted to tell everyone of my experiences with Bruce. They don't come any finer!
