Allwave 23 reception

Spent about an hour from 1205AM til 1AM this morning listening to Radio New Zealand news reports,

here in Chicago. RNZI at 11725 KHZ.

I can get Australia at about 4 am here in Moline at about 10.0 on SW.

This is on my McMurdo 15/17 and a 5 foot antenna.

Kinda fun to hear these long distance stations !!

I will try the NZ station next as I usually get up to let the dogs out about Midnight.
