EH Scott Radio Enthusiasts

The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Has a hinged lid, doors and lower shelf but I don't know if this is indeed a Scott cabinet or if not, what was it from originally ??

Your cabinet is not among documented Scott cabinets. I think yours was installed in an older cabinet.

Folks who wanted to upgrade to a better radio often had a good cabinet already. Scott delivered his radios with a front panel with escutcheons mounted. Scott cabinets were an option, chosen from the then current Scott catalog. Some old radio cabinets would easily accept the receiver  with panel in the existing opening without modification. Or the panel was a good pattern to make a new panel that fit an older cabinet.
