Garrard RC-8 Help

Hello, new member here.  Was wondering if anyone had recently had any pot metal parts copied for a Garrard RC-8?  My tone arm support snapped as I was bringing the changer back to life.  I knew I was walking on egg shells as I handled the table but even with being careful it failed.  I would like to avoid casting if possible. The break is very clean and would scan well once glued back together.  The new digital scanning lathes look impressive for small parts.  Any opinions or suggestions????

Hello!

I found a 1930's Magnavox radio on the curb last week. Inside the cabinet was a Garrard RC-8A. Perhaps you could use it for parts? It has a tonearm rest intact, but the arm itself was snapped (I glued it) The subchassis has cracks too (cast pot metal) but otherwise its all there.

Jeff,  That's an amazing find.  I have NEVER found anything curbside in my years of collecting.  I would be interested in the changer, pot metal and all.  Parts is parts.  Where are you located?

Jeff, I'm in Allentown, Pa., so Long Island is doable as a day trip.  My time is flexible so I can work around your schedule.  Let me know what you want for the changer.  Thanks, Bill
