Garrard RC-8 bites the dust. HELP!

Hello, new member here.  Was wondering if anyone had recently had any pot metal parts copied for a Garrard RC-8?  My tone arm support snapped as I was bringing the changer back to life.  I knew I was walking on egg shells as I handled the table but even with being careful it failed with use.  I would like to avoid casting if possible. The break is very clean and would scan well once glued back together.  The new digital scanning lathes look impressive for small parts.  Any opinions or suggestions????

Jeff, A good guy from the forum gave me a spare as well.  It appears to be a year or two later and the frame sags so bad the main cam can't make contact.  It's arm was broken as well.  I've had an arm 3D copied and a silicon mold made for casting.  The first effort was in bronze and waaaay to heavy. When the tone arm project hit over $800.00 I put it on the back burner but I'm about ready to take my mold to another small foundry and try again in a closer match to the original material.  The changer that came in my Gothic is structurally sound, the later one, reflecting the metal crisis in London in the early 40's is practically worthless except for parts.

Guess what. I have a spare. RC 50. Bad pot metal in the frame.
