The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Saw this picture on an auction site.  I believe it's a philharmonic.  The auction is in Lincoln NE this weekend. Here's the notice that went out to the Iowa Radio Club."Dozens (over a hundred?) RCA/Sylvania radio tubes on auction this Saturday approx. 25 mi. west of Lincoln, NE. I know this is WAY out of your normal stomping grounds, but please pass the info on to any radio folks you know in eastern IA or NE who may be interested and close enough to attend. Auction info at Schweitzer Auctions, www.nebauction.com; & photos at http://nebauction.hibid.com - click on Auction Preview in black bar on May 19 auction (tubes pictured on page 2.) Thank you for your time!" and here's a picture of the chassis that one the end of page two.

Philharmonic AM/FM set.  Only thing better is if they have the proper amp/power supply and speaker.  The tubes there are nothing to get excited about...bunch of TV numbers.
