The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

It has a look of a Scott - but I don't see any manufacturing / serial number plate in the photos.  It's up for auction at a local auction house.   They claim it is a "9 tube radio"

Sorry, still a "newby" to antique radios and E.H. Scott radios!

Yes. It is the tuner chassis of a Scott Allwave Superheterodyne AKA Allwave 12, 2-dial. A separate power amplifier and speaker are required for it to be complete. It is missing the original dials and dial mechanisms which are very difficult to find in operable condition.
