I have noticed many photos are identified with cryptic letters and numbers.

For the first time, I  uploaded a few photos of cabinets not already represented  and figured out how to add a meaningful description to a photo at the conclusion of the upload. 

And you are able to add (or edit) a brief description to any photo that you have previously uploaded. For example, to replace the cryptic photo number with the cabinet name, just click on your photo to see the enlarged image. Note above your photo to the upper right is a field with the word options. Click on Options, and several fields appear. One has that cryptic number, and you can replace it with something descriptive. I doubt Kent wants a narrative. By replacing the cryptic photo number with the cabinet name or or other brief couple word description, you add clarity for others looking at all the photos.
