EH Scott Radio Enthusiasts

The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

For many years with my Pointer Philharmonic, I used the EICO HFT-90 kit I built during high school. Yes that dates me. Loved the explanation point tuning indicator, too.

My Scott came from mother's cousin along with a Meisner FM receiver that drifted and I recall had to frequently adjust. Became the beginning of my Scott collection.

Parents bought first house when I was in 11th grade, and we put my Scott in the living room (no cabinet then). The EICO worked well, and I still have it.  I should probably check it out and put it back in service on one of my Scotts. After my marriage, I soon took the Scott with Eico tuner and Dad bought an H H  Scott stereo component system (solid state).

david I like my later model Sherwood fm tuner I use on my 1940 philharmonic. holds stations well and has a local or long distance feature that enables me to pickup stations in other areas very well, jimmie
