The Fine Things are Always Hand Made

Scott Mystery Chassis

Undocumented Scott tuner chassis made between the end of WWII and February 1946 when the first Model 800B receivers were completed. Two of these tuner chassis and one power supply/amplifier chassis are known to exist in the captivity of serious Scott radio collectors. Being postwar and having the early FM band along with broadcast and shortwave, this receiver is unique. The dial and top cover on this chassis are borrowed while the other chassis is being restored.

"to exist in the captivity of serious Scott radio collectors".

This description of collection of old radios are a new standpoint never thought by my in the past and very poetical.

I like your description ;-)
