Restoration photos of Special Communications Receiver JJ-252 built for William C Smith. Offered in 1940 for a price of $650.00, it is estimated that only around 25 of these sets may have been sold. William C Smith was obviously someone of high social standing but I have yet to identify the William C Smith who owned this radio. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
