If you need any help with the restoration, this list is a wonderful resource. I had to have a new power transformer made for mine. I was able to get one built by Heyboer transformers in Grand Haven Mi. thanks to a member of this list. I replaced all the bypass and coupling caps in the tuner chassis, but have yet to do a complete alignment.

thank you for your help with the cabinet and the chrome polish, I will try it. I have all the knobs, and I will re-install them and give the old gal a better look, she has had a rough existence lately.   I started cleaning the top with some formby's stain removal, someone used a paint brush to stain the top of this one. actually it came out nice. I have some new grille cloth that i am going to see what is a close match. thanks again tom for the comments. Don Baker

A great find. I have the earlier 5 knob version. It should clean up well. I used Kiwi neutral shoe polish on the cabinet of mine and Turtle Wax chrome polish for the chassis.

Thom Also in Illinois.
