Yes I had to make the top of the gear box and the switch on top is only transferred on the AM band and not the 3 SW bands.   Checking contacts now to see why the osc is not running on the 3 SW bands.  Thanks for your reply  Doug

The top of that gear box has been milled or is not original.  Either way, with the damage visible, there is a good chance the switch on the top of the chassis is not working correctly.  Before investing a lot of time, however, try turning the cam used to operate the top switch over to determine if that may be the problem.
