Scott Sixteen in Accousticraft Cabinet

Hello, I am new to this sight and I have found it very cool. I don't know a lot about radios, more of a guitar amp guy, but I got my Scott from an elderly customer about ten years ago. It looks exactly like this one though I don't know about the insides. I would like to know more about mine. Not sure if I want to attempt a restore or what to do with it. It does work. Glad we have a site like this.

Norman,
If you ever run acrros another, please let me know. This is a set I hope to obtain one day. I really like the little doors on the cabinet. I am working with a freind who has one he might sell but haven't seen it yet.

Over the years I have had a number of Scott receives housed in the Acousticraft cabinet but this one, being purchased from the original owner family in excellent condition, is a keeper. The sound quality from the Sixteen is surprisingly good.

Very cool! I have always liked this set. Is it an excellent player?
