"  I just wanted to say that I have my Allwave 12 Deluxe playing very nicely.  Listened to the whole Cleveland Guardians game today without any problems.  Lots of volume and hardly any adjustment in the alignment.  Plays…"

"Yes all the caps have been replaced and all the tubes have been checked on my Jackson tube checker for shorts.  All 3 of the 2k resistors were within tolerance but I will check them again in the morning as well as the ground connections. …"

"I found the problem. A slight wiring error on my part.  Now it has lots of volume.  Thanks for the suggestion. Now for another thing that may or may not be a problem.  On your schematic the 82k resistor going to the cathode of the 2nd…"

" Forget the  request for a power transformer.  I found the problem.  While maneuvering around I must have knocked a solder blob loose and it wedged behind the high voltage terminal of the rectifier.  After removing that, I…"

"Well I have some good news and some really bad news.  The good news is I had it receiving although low volume and running about 50volts low throughout the receiver.  My antenna is not good at all, about 10' running along the ceiling…"

"Thanks Alex.  The problem is there are no values on the schematic. I've got information on the color codes of the mica caps if they follow the normal color codes of the times, meaning the 1920s and 30s.  I'm probably going to…"

"Thank You very much Kent.  I don't want to damage anything so I will definitely wait till I restore all the components.  And I'll leave the micas alone.  Till I have another question. I thank you!! Dick"

"Thanks Kent.  I'm a little leery about all the mica caps in this thing.  They are Micamold brand and I've always heard that they are really paper.  What is this forum's opinion?  I opened one up not too long ago…"

"The caps along the back apron on this receiver aren't very big.  They are .1MFD with a 3k resistor in parallel.  They aren't any bigger than the other bathtub caps in the rest of the receiver.  Do these still have the coil…"
